Gillie is an ancient Gaelic term for an expert fisher person who can teach new fisher people.
Our current Gillie is Dennis Gedney who says “I am always available to gather in the Gilly room after each meeting to discuss things in detail — and — if I don’t have the answers for them, I will refer them to the person who knows most about the subject”.
Dennis frequently has demonstration tables at our Weekly Meetings.
