Freshwater:

1.   Barry and Dale fished Durance –did well 
2.   Dale fished at Prospect –early- strike pulled rod into lake- snagged rod with a treble hook- did not get the fish 
3.   Ron D. recommended trying a Gomphus in local lakes 
4.   March 11 fish out at Durance /alternate date March 13 – $ 2.00 hotdogs. 
5.   April 8 Fish out at Fuller Lake near Chemainus/alternate date April 10 

Salt Water:

1. Ron  – from fishing reports, a 16 lb. chinook Becher Bay. 
2. John F. has booked an all day halibut and salmon charter with Good Time Dave for Aug 14, 2020- 1 spots – $ 200.00/spot 

Freshwater:

1. Dale Prospect Lake – went out Sunday beautiful day 8 boats out, landed 7, had others on, used a floating hopper fly with split shot on the leader.
2. Ron D. recommended trying a Gomphus fly (type of dragon fly nymph) – the club has some to buy
3. March 11 – FishOut at Durance – $ 2.00 hotdogs.
4. April 8 – FishOut at Fuller Lake near Chemainus

Salt Water:

1. RyanA – Slow only one keeper
2. John F. Sven and Jack, went out Mon. with Good Time Dave- went to Constance Bank- caught 3 salmon 4 , 5 and 6 lbs.
3. John F. has booked an all day halibut and salmon charter with Good Time Dave for Aug 14, 2020- 2 spots – $ 200.00/spot

Freshwater:

1. Dale Prospect Lake – trolling- Caught quite a few trout using a sinking line with tom thumb/double humpy
2. Ron D. recommended trying a Gomphus fly (type of dragon fly nymph) – the club has some to buy
3. March fish out dates next week – consensus on $ 2.00 hotdogs

1. Charter out of Becher Bay catching salmon at Race Rocks

1. Barry and Dale Prospect Lake no luck trolling.
2. Barry spoke fellow who was anchored and was fishing with fast sink lines with booby and bloodworm flies on the bottom- slow retrieve- moves to an new spot after 20 min.
3. Ron D. made up samples of a Famous fly on a challenge from Sandy M. see BC Outdoors Magazine for recipe
4. Bill T.- West Coast Fly Fishing Association fish out Kemp Lake Sunday 10:00
5. Sandy M. – Elk lake fishing dock spoke with Dirk Mitchell who fishes for carp with a long spin cast rod – 40 lb. test line- uses rod tether after losing 9 rods to strikes.

Salt Water:

1. Constance Bank- 4 chinook-9 to 4 lbs- 100 ft.- skinny G
