Fresh Water:

• One report, there was one fish spotted rising on Durrance Lake by an intrepid member this week.
  

  Salt Water:

• Art spoke on Basking Shark slaughter and DFO involvement. A very sad story.

Fresh Water:

• N/A (slow and cold)

Salt Water:

• Ryan reported catching 4 springs, all under 5lbs, off Constance Bank on spoons.

Fresh Water Fishing:

• Ron visited Durrance Lake, saw no fishermen on the lake and no fish rising. On most Saturday mornings, casting bait from shore, Doug Dobbyn is willing to share fishing tips.
• A 4+ pound rainbow reported caught in Langford Lake. Elk Lake fishing may be good this year due to continued stocking and less fishing pressure.

Salt Water:

• No fishing, too windy.

• Durrance Lake, Barry in snuggies, didn’t catch but lots of trout rising.
• Fly Tying at Haig Brown, CPO Mess tomorrow, 17 Jan at 7:00 pm

• Ryan, 2 Springs (about 3 lbs/20 inches) on skinny spoons in and around mouth of harbour.

Fresh Water:
