April 27th Elk Lake Fish Out and Picnic/Potluck – Italian theme
Hello everyone!
Welcome to out new members!
Year after year, our Elk Lake Fish Out/Picnic always takes place under a bright sun so let’s get together and chase away showers and clouds!
This is a reminder that Thursday April the 27th is the annual Fish Out/Picnic at Elk Lake. Here are the details:
Where: Rowing Club at Elk Lake
Time: Fish Out in the morning. Picnic at 11:30
What: Tasting of Pasta Sauces (The Club will provide the pasta). Five volunteers will provide the sauces: Alison, Robert, Wynn, Sandy Mc and Dennis
Donation: $2 per person – PLUS, bring lots of coins to vote for best pasta sauce (no matter the coin, they all count for one vote)
Food needed: Appies, salads (no pasta salad!), bread & butter, desserts -with a Italian twist if you can
Bring: Your plates and silverware, glasses & mugs, chairs, hats, sunglasses!!
We Need: 2 camp stoves (with propane tanks) as we will have lots of pots on the go. If you can bring one, please let Solange know as soon as possible. Thank you. Solange: sol.valiquette@shaw.ca
If possible please carpool, as there are members who have no means to get to the event.

The Year of the Fire Rooster was celebrated by more than forty members and their guests of the Golden Rods and Reels Fishing and Social Club on January 26th 2017 at the Golden City Restaurant.
