SOCIAL: Corn Roast & 85+ Celebration

Corn harvest is here and it’s also time to celebrate our 85+ Members!

We will use this opportunity to acknowledge the 85+ members for their numerous contributions of knowledge and playfulness, for their teaching moments to new members and for their passion for fishing and socializing with the GRR, many of them for the last 40 years!

• Corn, hotdogs, cake. 

• Your own plates, silverware, glasses and your own beverage.
• Your own chairs, sunglasses, hats and your cheerful selves 😇.
• Potluck contribution: Salads and (light on) desserts  (Keep in mind that there will be a celebratory cake for everyone to enjoy).

  Fee:

• No normal $5 fee because of the partial donation of seafood towards the 40th event in July, the GRR Club is able to cover the cost of the Corn Roast gathering.

   

  Rides:

• Some of our members will need rides to Sidney (especially some of the 85+ group), as they otherwise might miss their event. Please asks Sandy Raven (250-380-9392) who these people might be.

  We look forward to seeing you all and once again, to celebrate, enjoy food and each other’s company.
